PlayStation Plus games for February 2019

For Honor and Hitman: The Complete First Season headline February's free games lineup, and members get a 10x increase in cloud storage for game saves.

Greetings, PlayStation Nation. Hope 2019 is off to a great start for you all!

Before we get to this month’s line up, we have news to share about cloud storage for PS Plus members. In early February, we will be expanding our cloud storage space from 10GB to 100GB for PS Plus members — giving PS4 owners even more space to keep all those game saves. With cloud storage, you can save your game progress and character profiles on one PS4 system, and then continue the game on another system later without losing progress. Be sure to check it out next month.

Now, let’s take a look at the free games next month, available starting on February 5, 2019.

First up, we have For Honor, the melee action game from Ubisoft. Experience the chaos of war and choose between Viking, Knight, and Samurai factions to find your perfect fighting style. Featuring 18 different PvP maps, this game will be sure to entertain you.

Next up, we have Hitman: The Complete First Season. Take on the role of Agent 47, the world’s ultimate assassin. Travel the globe to eliminate your targets in traditional and less traditional ways. From sniper rifles to expired spaghetti sauce, use the weapons at your disposal to become the master assassin.

This month’s PlayStation Plus lineup also includes:

**This month’s PS3 and PS Vita games will be available for a few extra days, until March 8, 2019. PS4 games will be available until March 5, 2019, when the next monthly games lineup hits. As a reminder, after March 8, 2019, PS3 and PS Vita games will no longer be offered as part of the PS Plus monthly games lineup — so be sure to download them while they’re available. Any PS3 and PS Vita games you’ve already downloaded, or will download, prior to March 8, 2019 will still be part of your PS Plus games library as long as you remain a member.

For PlayStation VR fans, we’ve just announced big discounts on top PS VR titles, exclusively for PS Plus members. This includes 50% off Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Gold Edition, 25% off Borderlands 2 VR, and 20% off Astro Bot Rescue Mission. This sale runs until February 5 so don’t miss out.

  • That PS4 game Bound sounds terrible lol.

"Bound —This platformer transports you into a beautiful, fantastical world that exists in the mind of a woman revisiting the memories of her childhood. Bound combines a unique visual style with a powerful story and gameplay mechanics infused with modern dance."

Sounds like a game only the developers mother would actually pay real money for... Thanks Sony!

Bound was a PS VR pushed short game title...  its another game they would not build a $60 game of content for ever...

Its been lower than $10 before... its not a Full game its another PS VR "Experince" title that allows DS4 and HDTV users to play it. like Eve;V does with HDTV mode support now...

  • Bound Looked a little like Journey or Flower. If it is many will be happy with it. As a PSVR owner I am happy for another 2 VR titles. Until Dawn Rush of Blood is one of the top VR games! I own it on Disc but still happy with the Digital version so I wount need to use the Disc. I think it's Fantastic Sony is giving a bonus VR title sometimes.

Is this the full lineup? The Blog was not written like most months, and the list is not actually a list, its kinda broken up oddly this month... plus it seems a bit trim...

I liked the choices for the PS3 and the Vita. Broken Sword has been interesting to play so far. Still have to try out Dungeon Punks and I'm looking forward to downloading R-Type to my PS3.

You are going to continue to use the same floated topic? No archive for the Months? So this is the same thread from last month, yet the OP was changed so posts will not match with the OP :( ok... we will have to keep that in mind when posting... I guess it makes sense... Yet maybe you could archive it by posting the last months in a post before updating the op, or by posting right before you update the op if you are going to continue using the same Thread?

Here is a link to the Gamespot post I found... https://www.gamespot.com/articles/free-ps4-ps-plus-games-for-december-2017-announced/1100-6455265/

They made it really easy to read and the video was informative...

I really like the Cut and Dry list style too... in the blog sadly its not cut and dry, more long and drawn out, plus the video is just clips, no real info... I find it blah... no offense intended...

Is it just me or are the lists getting trim lately? Maybe its becasue they are spread across 3 platforms? I remember when we first got minis I think it was before Vita and we thought that was cool...(Maybe that was just me lol) Yet I am glad at least that they are still giving us Vita and Ps3 games...

I have heard very cool things about Darksiders... wasn't that one of the ones in the Playstation Humble bundle?

This month the titles are pretty much meh. I mean I'll still play them minus Kung Fu Panda.

    - Xblaze Memories is a ok Visual Novel, but if you read Code Embryo then it's just more of the same except the ending.

    - Darksiders 2: Thanks to that humble bundle a while ago I think everyone out there already owns a copy of this game.

So hyped for the new PS3 and Vita offerings. I got to try out Sacred 3 via PS Now and really like it, so I'm looking forward to playing it on my PS3. And the other games look like they'll be worth it as well.

They may have made a mistake on Psycho-Pass. It's currently not listed as a Cross-Buy so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I bought Uncanny Valley some time ago and it's pretty trippy. I got one of the ending but never went back to see the others and dig deeper into the game. As always, I keep bouncing between 5-6 games and rarely ever finishing one...

Yea but it's not a big deal. Hoping that it is for PS4 gamers as well though.

Psycho-Pass kind of reminds me of Danganropa.

Cool. It looked like it'll be interesting.

  • While not as good as last month, I think February's line up is still solid. Will be giving Rime a try and already own Knack.
