I downloaded fight night champions for PS3, am I able to download and play on PS4?

    The PS4 is not backward-compatible with the PS3, and games intended for the PS3 cannot be shown or downloaded in the PS4's Library. 

     

    If the game is available through the Playstation Now rental/streaming service, you can play it there... but you'll have to rent the game.
