Lost All Game Data

I was playing Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 about 30 minutes ago until the screen went black and the stream dropped. When I restarted the game my saved data for the game was gone, infact all of my Ps Now save data was deleted. Is there away to recover all this data or at the very least my Harry Potter save data?

PSN: Critical_Action

Game: Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4

Last Save: Between 9:30 and 9:45 PM EST

  • Same here, same game. I'm so ******, it just deleted hours of game play on multiple games. Does anyone know what to do?

  • It's ridiculous that people have to post on community forums to get help from Playstation Support. Losing data is a major issue and one of the main reason why people are so fearul of streaming their games, yet Sony provides no easy way for consumers to recover their data and puts a pay wall behind backing up game saves. Sony has talking recently about how they want to invest more in PS Now and improve the service yet they can't seem to even afford to pay more than one employee to help people on the PS Now support forum. I do like PS Now for the most part but this is a major turn off that needs to be sorted out immediately. Although I have good things to say about the service, I cant recommend it to anyone unless PS Now data recovery is made easier and the pay wall for backing up game saves is removed.

This has happened to me as well! I opened a support case over a week ago but my save data is still missing :(

  • I opened a ticket with support and the guy helping me seemed to have no idea what happened or why, so I'm assuming he doesn't actually know if it can be fixed or not. I'm extremely irritated because what is the point of paying for a service if you can't even be guaranteed to save your data or even recover it?

  • I got in contact with what seems to be the only person from PS Support on this forum, but they have been extermely slow with answer messges, it took them about a day and a half to respond to my message asking for help. The last thing they told me was that they couldn't find my PSN ID, so I guess I might be better off creating a new save game. But I did ask for an update on the issue with my ID and they didn't respond......what great customer service. You know this is the exact kind of BS that has been turing people away from game streaming servies, your better off buying a PS3 off Ebay or Craigslist instead of having to deal with vanishing save data and slow customer service.
