Why is there a PC version of PsNow but not a version for Mac a lot of people have Macs.

Not really.  More than 90% of the installed base of PCs in the countries where PlayStation Now is supported are Windows computers. A Mac version would be expensive to develop because Macs run a different operating system that does not have good support for the technologies that the current app is built-on. Adding another platform would also add significant support cost, but there aren't enough Macs to significantly increase PlayStation Now subscriptions. That isn't the way that Sony is going.  Sony dropped support for devices that are more common than Macs in most countries.

  • @gkpama00 that would be a great reply, if only PS4 remote play wasn't supported on the Mac. They're both streaming app solutions, so including PS4 remote play and not including PSNow on the Mac is baffling, imo.

You are assuming that supporting Remote Play on the Mac met Sony's expectations for return-on-investment.  What if the Remote Play app on the Mac was rarely used, and didn't contribute significantly to PS4 sales?  That would argue against investing any more money in the Mac platform.  While the technology used for PS4 Remote Rlay is related to the technology used for PlayStation Now, that doesn't mean that supporting PlayStation Now on the Mac would be trivial.

  • Came up though goolge.

If you isntall Windows 10 then you can but as an MAC version my self i wound perfer to not install Windows 10 just fur that. I had to install Windows 10 on my MAC since i needed it to burn blu-ray's and run the Oculus Rift.

  • We want Mac support.

  • It's no longer the case the PCs dominate with 90% - if you look at the US, for example, Windows accounts for only around 35% of the share of operating systems with Mac at around 10%.

It does not make sense to me why PS NOW is not available on Mac. Sony bought ONLIVE technology in order to develop  PS NOW, and I remember playing Onlive on my MacBook back then.

Mac has almost no games, PS Now for Mac would be one of the best options for playing.

Mac OSX is not supporting Open soucre coding library that many apps and games used any more.

Apps are dropped from Mac OS and will nolonger work because they moved to graphic libraries on windows that Apple refuse to update the Mac OSX too and instead use the old unstable builds for applications and games...

This is only getting worse with the newer OSes from apple, SIE dropped OLD OSes when they forced changes to remote play to support IOS remote play ,this then removed older Mac osx build from being supported in remote play as well.. combined with Safari web kit being not updated on one of those older OSX builds...

All SIE apps will need to be rebuilt as they were 32bit apps..
