What can I do!

I've had a scratch in the center of my right lens since I've bought PSVR two years ago. I never called Sony or anything because I've read bad things about being denied for repair or replacement, costing a fee of 150 USD regardless, or, if you are accepted then expect to wait around 6 months or more. That seemed like more trouble than it's worth, especially if that downtime is true. But now I'm really getting into VR gaming and I'm worried that I'll mess up my vision or something having my right eye focusing on a blurry image. Is there any hope to repair or replace lenses myself? Can Sony help? I really want to be immersed but it hurts..

    First a more relavent thread title to your issue would have been nice. This would give us an idea of what to expect without ever having to open the thread.

     

    "I've read bad things" should never stop someone from trying something themselves. Since the headset is out of warranty you will have to pay out of pocket to have it repaired or replaced. Sony does not provide parts for users to replace or fix things themselves.
