Having to constantly uninstall app on fire devices

Any body else have a issue of having to unistall and reistall the app on fire devies, to get Vue to work everytime its turned back on. I have been having to do this for the past 2 days on all my fire devies. Works fine on my ipad.

    Here to help! What is causing you to have to do the uninstall and reinstall? Are you getting an error code or message that is not allowing you to use the PlayStation Vue app?

  • No error code, but i cant change the channel, it opens on the last channel i watched. Live channel section or channel section wont even pop up for me to view, it wont let me click on anything.

  • Same issue here - Fire TV Stick 4K, latest version of Fire TV firmware and PS VUE app. I can clear data and that fixes the issue, but I have to sign in again every time. Basically this has made the app unusable.

  • Same here... I have to uninstall and reinstall the PSVue app on my fire devices to be able to watch anything. I called tech support twice and they are aware of the issue but have no idea when it will be fixed. I also had them open a request for a refund for the period of time that I am inconvenienced. I urge everyone to call and ask for compensation. The PSVue support # is 877-883-7669.

    Hey we are getting tired of uninstalling and reinstalling psvue to change a channel. Please update or I’m gonna have to cancel and switch to someone else

  • same problem with me.  had vue for 3 years and could not have been more pleased up until a few weeks ago  so fed up i am trying hulu for 7 days, but i cant get nfl network with them, so that will be a deal breaker (during football season anyway). if it works fine on a roku, i may consider buying that.

  • Yes, this has been going on for a long while - For me, it's been about 2 + weeks and for others longer - I am going to go elsewhere as this is just ridiculous - paying for service that we do not receive.

  • Ok, so I may have some additional info on this issue. I’ve tried it now on a Fire TK Stick 4K and a Fire TV 4K pendant, and both exhibit the issue where the interface is “stuck” and overlayed on the last-played channel when the app is launched until the app data is cleared and I’ve logged back in to PS Vue. However, I’ve noticed this only manifests when out of my home viewing area, after I get the notice that I will be receiving local channels live for the geography that I am currently in. Testing at home, I do not see this issue, since that pop-up dialogue box is never presented.
