I can't get out of the you're watching screen after the recent update

Since I did the update I can not get out of the you're watching screen pressing select does nothing pressing back does not bring me up to the menu where i can select home or guide at the top like it used to all i can do is press up and down and move through this tiny menu that shows up below what i'm watching saying trending live tv, my dvr, channels, and some other options but i cannot select any of these options i can only scroll through them. I am watching on a fire stick I don't know if that maters. I'm stuck on this one channel and I cannot even watch it because the you're watching screen is in the way. I tried reseting my device but the problem persist.

  • I am having the exact same problem, i have also unistalled and reinstalled the Vue app severarl times, can you send me way to fix as well?

  • Same here... I have to uninstall and reinstall the PSVue app on my fire devices to be able to watch anything. I called tech support twice and they are aware of the issue but have no idea when it will be fixed. I also had them open a request for a refund for the period of time that I am inconvenienced. I urge everyone to call and ask for compensation. The PSVue support # is 877-883-7669.

  • It has been glitchy since the update, but now it is stuck on a channel and I can't get off of it - I watch using the Firestick. I tried to just bypass the Firestick, but it wants me to activate, and I'm afraid it will just do the same thing. Wasn't having any problem with the TV in the bedroom, but last night if forced me to update before it would let me access PSVue, so now I suppose it's just a matter of time. Please help!

  • Identical problem for me as well.  All of my firesticks 4k w Playstation Vue app are doing this.  I've cleared cache, cleared data and uninstalled/reinstalled repeatedly.  It lasts a while but then the same problem returns.

  • Same issue - Only solution is to clear all data and re-enter credentials anytime you want to change programs.  Support are you listening?  Can you give everyone an ETA on when this will be resolved?
