Curious the services people will now go to with Vue shutting down for good.

  • YouTube TV on the 15th of November.

  • Maybe just putting up an antenna. I have tried the other services and found them less than satisfactory. If we go to another service it will more than likely be either Hulu LIve or back to Sling. I have tried both and didn't feel compelled to stay. It's ashamed Vue didn't make it. May just go back to cable, ugh.

  • Ended up adding LiveTV to Hulu. Only because wanted to be able to have the Premiums like HBO Showtime and Cinemax all in one app. Added Enhanced DVR and No Ads. The total came out to the same amount of $ as the Ultra Pkge we had with PSVue.

  • Going nowhere. There is nothing out there like vue. I'll probably stay away from live tv.

  • Prob going with Youtube. It has all the channels that watch with PSVue except Hallmark. But there are streaming services for Hallmark that will still be cheaper overall than PSVue.

Agreed with Deke StangCam, YouTube TV looks like it has mostly the same offerings as PSVue at the same price point.  My plan is to ride out PSVue until it dies and then sign up for YouTube TV and see how it goes.

  • Great site for a channel comparison. Click on the channels (on left) and it will create the best streaming service for you.

    Would still rather keep PSVue.

  • I have been trying YouTube TV for 4 days now. I love it so far. More channels that I like. And never, not once, even a hint of a buffer.  And never asked to re-authorize like with Playstation Vue on my 4 Roku's.    I think it's a keeper.

  • I'll be moving to YTTV starting 2/1. It was a good run while it lasted. My billing date is on the second of the month so I'll take January for free. Based on the email I don't think anyone is going to get charged for January but some people are saying that if your billing date is near the end of the month you won't get the full month of January for free. I think they are misinterpreting what Sony has said in the email to subscribers but we will see...

  • I'm really hoping Playstation adds a YoutubeTV app now that Vue is going away.  If not I probably won't use the playstation much.

  • Will PlayStation make other streaming services available? Cuz I watch Vue on my PS4..

  • switched to YouTubeTV a few months back. After using it i can say i much preferred PSVue but i was having too many freeze ups and glitches so i had to switch. Youtube TV guide is horriffic, you can only see a couple hours in it and that's it. Also this one is extremely irritating, if your're watching a DVR'd program you are forced to watch commercials you cannot fast foward past them (not on all channels but many of them). The picture quality isnt as good either and the interface is slower. Also many sports channels arent included and YOUTUBE TV DOES NOT HAVE HBO.

  • Disappointed to say the least. I found out from Reddit and not PS. $90 a month per user and you can't sustain? Don't know if gaming only is going to save you.

Hulu has been a bandwith hog, had Sling previously and it had issues, guess try the others, still hate quitters. Thx Sony for all your support <sarcasm>.

  • I was going to hang in there with PS Vue until the end, but when I could not connect via Roku last night, I cancelled and signed up with Youtube TV.  There will be a little bit of a learning curve, but it already seems pretty straightforward.  I was concerned about missing Thursday NFL games on the NFL Network, but see these are also available on Amazon Prime, which I already have.

I loved Vue, but honestly, since that last update a couple of months ago, it has been a shadow of its former self, at least on Roku.

If some other company does buy it, I will check it out, but for now I have moved on pretty painlessly.

I will move over to youtube tv.  Its pretty good i tried it.  Doesnt have on demand integrated into the guide which i love on PSvue but it wasn't too bad.  Plus it will have PBS this month.

I had the Roku app crash issue tóo but discovered I could change the channel on my android tv then go back to Roku and it was fixed.

  • Youtube tv seems to be the closest thing, but it doesn't have the NFL Network or the Redzone channel!! And that really is just about a deal breaker for me. I don't know what I'm going to do yet.

  • I think I'm going with Hulu Live, it's not perfect but has some channels that we watch that aren't on YouTube TV.

  • I'm going with Youtube (as previously stated) and was going to wait until the end before switching over. But feel that once Vue has my final payment towards the end of Dec, I'm at their mercy until the end of Jan and who knows what they're going to do as far as service and channels.

So I'm prob going to make the change at the end of Nov.
