Losing audio after commercial

Losing audio when commercial is over. I run PSVue on Roku. Has been happening for last week or so after update. Generally I’m on MSNBC or other channels. It fixes when I exit from PSvue and re start the program. It happens daily axnd repeatedly after a commercial. Very aggravating.  Video is not affected, just audio

  • My psvue on Roku encounters exactly the same problem off and on for some months now: loss of sound after commercials, only on live channel streaming. Problem clears when momentarily press rewind/forward buttons. Help! Thanks.

  • This is happening to us too. I've usually had to go completely out of PSVue, but I'll try the other options

  • Happening to me too. I just signed up two days ago. So far much better than AttNow but this is annoying having to switch channels to get it back.

  • Why on earth is this issue only being handled by PMs? It's obvious that multiple people (including me) are having this issue.

Sound cuts out, usually after a commercial break, FireTV stick. FF/REW do not fix it, but changing channels does.

  • I am having the same issue with all of my fire sticks. Any fix yet?

  • I'm having the same issue. I'm watching on the FireTV and on PS4 and right after the NFL Sunday Ticket commercial, the sound cuts out. every single time.  This really should be communicated on a grand scheme and not an individual basis

  • I am having the same issue.  Has anyone found a solution to this?

  • I have begun experiencing this issue in recent weeks - sound just disappears, seems to happen after commercials. It will return if I go to menu and switch channels for a second, and the sound is back when I switch back to the channel I'd been watching. I'm running PSV on an Amazon 4K FireStick and it happens on both my Firesticks on separate TVs. Sounds like it's not a Roku issue but a PSV issue.

  • I'm experiencing the same issue (audio drops out) with Fire TV.  Why not patch v6.3.1 so that we can all get the fix?

  • Me too. Loses audio frequently after commercials during NFL broadcasts. If tech support can’t post a solution here, please send me a PM.

The problem is bad enough for me to seriously consider discontinuing the service if it can’t be resolved quickly.

Hello there! Thank you for reaching out to us for assistance with PS Vue.

    • Does this issue only occur on a certain program or channel?
    • What device are you using?
    • Do you continue to experience issues after uninstalling the PS Vue app and installing it back in?

Thank you in advance for the information!

  • So why do some messages get a response and a PM with troubleshooting tips, but the vast majority of other questions are ignored?
